How to analyse the costs and profits of coal briquette project

Share with:

As for the costs and profits analysis of a coal briquetting project, you need to study the local coal briquettes market firstly, to get its price.
The costs of coal briquetting mainly depends on the factors as following.
1. The cost of raw materials. The coal briquettes are normally made of coal fines which are residues from other processing, and have little value. So the fines coal are usually reckoned to have low cost to justify the briquette plant investment. However, supplying the coal fines to the plant from sources, even close by, costs money. Besides, the binders are starch and other industrial binding materials which cost times than the cost of coal fines. Hence, as a 3-8% addition to coal fines is needed to make the briquettes, it is a very significant cost item.
2. The cost of electricity consumption.
3. The cost of manpower. The quantity of workers in total, the salary for per worker.
4. The one-off investments, such as equipments, infrastructure of workshop and others.
