Anthracite, often referred to as hard coal, is a hard, compact variety of coal that has a submetallic luster. Anthracite has the highest carbon content (92%-98%), the fewest impurities, and the highest energy density of all types of coal except for graphite, and it is the highest ranking of coal. Anthracite ignites with difficulty and burns with a short, blue, and smokless flame.
Because of the excellent value, anthracite coal briquetting is a tremendously profitable business. Shaping the anthracite fines into briquettes, then it will be more convenient for transport and get better consistent burn.
