In the last article, we analyzed moisture content which influences the strength of coal briquettes. For coal briquette press, rapid compaction can be done only if the optimum moisture content is provided. However, the amount of water added during briquetting affects the drying time and the drying mechanism of coal briquettes. So the cost of coal briquettes is increased because of the extra effort required for the drying process. Our studies shows that the required coal briquettes strength can be achieved if the time of compaction is increased instead of increasing the moisture content. The time required for briquetting is an important parameter for coal briquettes strength. We observed that increasing duration of compaction significantly increases the strength of coal briquettes.CONTACT US
