Studies show that the density of coal briquette is directly related to the pressure applied during the formation of coal briquettes. In general, the maximum density can be obtained by applying pressure up to 150Map approximately. Moreover, the abrasion resistance and density of coal briquettes increase largely up to pressure of 70Mpa, further increasing the pressure only slightly increases the density and abrasion resistance. Therefore, a qualified coal briquette press which is equipped with the appropriate pressure, is necessary.
