Coal fines briquetting is a pressure agglomeration method where coal fines are compacted into dense briquettes via
roller press. The briquettes must be able to withstand rigorous handing and transport operations without disintegrating.
The complete processing steps of coal fines briquetting is, crushing-mixing-briquetting-drying-packing. First, Crushing. There may be some mass in raw materials. So the first step is crushing raw materials into coal fines evenly. Second, mixing. As some binders or additives are needed, the mixing process will mix coal fines, binders or additives, water evenly, to prepare for the mixtures for briquetting. Third, briquetting. The prepared mixtures will be compacted into briquettes, via
coal briquette making machine. If you want stronger coal briquettes which are more integrated, the pre-pressing before briquetting is an effieicnt method. Fourth, drying. As water added in mixing process and internal moisture of coal fines, the moisture content of resulting briquettes is commonly 10-20%, the dyring process will reduce its moisture to required level. Finally, packing. This processing step is optional.
